  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

    Would you be liable for a claim if someone / something hits this now then? If it causes injury / damage and it is proven that the road is in a poor condition with photographic evidence provided and uploaded on the same day you deemed it not needing repair?

  • These will swallow a large alloy wheel and tyre causing a potential blow out. What size do they need to be for you to accept responsibility? I am in disbelief that none of the holes on this road are too small to be deemed in need of repair

  • Folks, these holes really need to be repaired please as they easily achieve your own criteria for action given their depth, location in the carriageway etc. pleas look to action this matter or l will look to escalate through your corporate complaints process and highways portfolio holder as the current position is unacceptable

  • Do you know their criteria please? This would be handy to know when they deny fault to blatantly obviously failed roads / repairs. Also what is their corporate complaints process / highways portfolio holder? Hopefully armed with this ammunition, we can show them their own rules which they choose to ignore.
