Collapsed verge problem
Reported via Open311 in the Collapsed verge category by Customer Services at 16:41, Tuesday 7 May 2024
Council ref: 4564027.
Carriageway edge rapidly breaking away as not supported adequately by verge. Immediate drop from carriageway on this narrow, 60mph chicane is approx 2 metres at a >45° gradient.
Initial assessment is that a serious RTA is very likely should a vehicle overrun the carriageway. Evidence of oil spill already on site
