Road leading to Gainsborough Recycling Centre

Most days when the recycling Centre is open we get queues of traffic blocking the entrance to Gainsborough Engineering Company. This makes it difficult for lorries for deliveries and collections to get in or out. Gainsborough Engineering also has visitors needed to get in to buy our products. Could we have Chevrons, a Box Junction or No Waiting in this area marked on the road. It seems like more traffic is queueing as the centre allows a car in when a car exits.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
