  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  • This problem is getting worse. The slightest rain causes water to come up through the pavement. The drain under the footpath was surveyed some time ago and a number of blockages identified. I don't think that any action was taken to clear this issue. I think that the drain is blocked outside my property and the drain water has found a way out to run across the pavement and down the road. Photos previously supplied. This is now causing a very slippery pavement and also causing my hedging to die. There is a drain inspection cover next to the leak which could be lifted to confirm this.

  • Is there any progress on repairing this problem. Water is still flowing down the pavement and with icy conditions now with us it could cause someone to slip and have an injury. Urgent attention is now required to rectify a liability for the council.
