  • Thanks for getting in touch with us. Please ensure you check for nesting birds before undertaking this work especially between March and August as this is the nesting season. It is an offence under Section 1 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act of 1981 to intentionally take, damage or destroy the nest of any wild bird while it is in use or being built. We would be grateful therefore if you would arrange to have it trimmed back to give clearance of the full width of the footpath. Thank you for reporting this matter.
