Leaves and twigs etc have blocked the drain. A big puddle sits in the road and when cars pass a wave of rain water splashes people on the path, also the wall and hedge gets splashed. This problem has been there for a long time.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

Issue is still there today after the last 12 hours of heavy rainfall. Standing water is larger than in the images shown in May. Blocked surface water drain. Does this all the time.
