I have been in touch with the council before concerning the water from heavy rain which runs directly into my drive before it gets to the drain, which is too high and blocked anyway. The water brings in mud and debris all over the path and my drive. Which is not only a risk to me and visitors, but also to passers by.
I have just had a total knee replacement and slipped on the mud while using crutches. I am able to provide written evidence from my consultant surgeon.
I got someone in, at great expense, to clear the mud up from my drive. But as you can see from the photo's provided, the mud has swept back in from a heavy rainful. This has been an ongoing issue for years now and as I stated before I have telephoned on several occasions and nothing has been done.
I am now very nervous of walking out to the front of my drive and across the pavement.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
