Eport Type : Road Road defect : Pothole Location Description : At the edge of the road surface on the near side (travelling from Grasby to Limber direction) on Grasby Wold Lane at the apex of a left hand bend after the crossroads with the Caistor to Kirmington road. Pothole located : Edge of the road Emergency : Yes Details : The pothole is at the edge of the road surface, where it has broken away and is approx 40cm x 40cm in size. My son was driving his car from the direction of Grasby to Limber along Grasby Wold Lane, after the crossroads with the Caistor to Kirmington road. A vehicle travelling in the opposite direction came round a bend too near to the centre of the road, necessitating him to take avoiding action, steer further over to the near side making it impossible to avoid this pothole. It caused a severe puncture to my sons car tyre which could not be repaired and had to be replaced. He has the receipt and wishes to claim for the damage.
