Outside 42 Bourne Road Colsterworth
Reported via Android in the Manhole/drain cover on road/cycleway category anonymously at 13:43, Monday 10 June 2024
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2809131.
The drain cover is sunken to over 40mm causing HGV'S to bounce heavily losing steering control as they drive over them. The drain is also blocked by straw causing it to over flow with rain water. The drain needs to be repaired or removed.

Photo attached. I also noticed that a drain cover further down Bourne Road before the junction with the High Street has been nicely repaired, please can the same be done for outside 42 Bourne Road.

This sunken drain has deteriorated. Large HGV'S bounce heavily as their wheels travel over the ironwork. Please can you escalate this work to be completed very soon.
