The road has developed subsidence over past 2 years so much so that when rains heavy a large puddle appears in a couple of places to the point I opened my front door recently and was splashed by passing vehicle that hit me and the hall floor. This is getting worse and whilst the wall outside the house gives some protection it is not witholding it all of the time and is getting worse. the wall has now discoloured and the corner of the house is also discolouring which will inevitably cause damp in the house. The road needs levelling up outside the house up to and including the next door neighbours. They too have noticed subsidence to the point the pot hole outside their property was filled in but they have noticed when rain falls heavily the pool of water splashes against their property also which is old.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
