New road surface issue
Reported via Android in the Uneven surface category anonymously at 16:17, Fri 14 June 2024
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2809627.
I'm not sure if you're aware. The new road surface is great but are you aware that the surface is rippled every 12 inches throughout the entire new surface. This is also present on the new Eastern bypass. It seems as a council you'll be spending a lot of money yet the contractors machines appear to be causing issues when rolling the new tarmac surface. How can a new surface end up rippled?

I have to say that the road is similar to a roller coaster as it doesn't seem like the contractor was trying to keep the lanes flat. It's a bit up and down so assume this will be fixed very soon!
