Reported via mobile in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 21:31, Wednesday 19 June 2024

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2810099.

There are potholes leading to the Health Centre and today I saw a lady on a mobility vehicle nearly get thrown off because of the potholes. I asked at the surgery if the state of the road had been reported and they said it had, a number of times, yet you still have not done anything about it as it has been like this for several weeks. You are asking for somebody to claim damages caused by the state of this road. People who use it are usually elderly and do not need the bumpy jerking about as they approach the surgery. I will be reporting this to my MP as this has been going on for a long time and Lincolnshire CC are ignoring the fact that they have a duty of care towards its tax payers. I see that I am not alone in my complaint and I really do not understand why you are being so lax in road maintenance leading to the Health Centre. I will be taking this to Edward Leigh who will probably take it to the CEO of LCC.

  • This morning 11/7 I was driving from the surgery. Where it meets Southdale a man had stopped to examine his car. Unable to drive past I asked what was wrong. He said he had hit a pothole and heard a loud bank thinking his car was damaged. I drove on the pavement to get round him.

  • Nothing has been done yet about the state of the road here. Pots holes extending in to South Dale are getting bigger, and you cannot avoid them to get to the Surgery, and when driving you drop into them causing the car to jolt.
