Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2810358.
The light at the back of my property on a public footpath has been replaced to a LED light the previous light had a shield on to stop light poluttion into the bedroom but the new light has no shield on it and is shining directly into the bedroom destroying sleep and effecting the mental well-being of my son. When the light was replaced they said it would be better but it’s 10 times worse so a shield needs to be put on the light.

What is happening with this , the streetlight is on all night 10:times brighter than the last and shining into my bedroom causing me not to sleep, please sort it or at least turn it off at night

This new LED light needs a shield putting on it because the light pollution into the back of my property especially the back bedroom is unacceptable disturbing sleep. We acknowledge the reason the light is there although the lamp post is restricting access to the back of the property the brightness and glare is unacceptable and needs a shield putting on it as the previous light did. I would like an urgent update or I will report this to my MP . Additionally the light is on all night and doesn’t switch off the same as other lights after midnight on Lee Avenue. Please give me an update as a matter of urgency
