Roundabout, Beachside, Sutton on Sea
Reported via iOS in the Visibility at junction or bend category anonymously at 22:25, Mon 24 June 2024
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2810508.
The roundabout has once again become overgrown, to the extent that it is now attracting rats. This overgrowth not only poses a health and safety risk but also obstructs residents when entering and exiting driveways. I must express my disappointment that this issue has persisted despite my annual complaints. The minimal maintenance that is carried out only provides a temporary solution, as the overgrowth quickly becomes unmanageable again. The unsightly appearance of the roundabout is also a concern for the community.

Thank you - Can I ask will the roundabout be completely cleared this time to prevent this situation being a 6 monthly / year problem?

Whilst I appreciate your prompt response, I am astonished the ‘works’ actioned can be deemed acceptable. The roundabout remains unsightly. The last cut was on Feb 9th 2024 so within five months, further work was required. Please can this matter be escalated, the roundabout needs clearing, it will surely prevent the reoccurring reporting from residents and the continuous costly work by yourselves. Your comments/actions would be appreciated.
