Updates

  • Thanks for letting us know about your issue with a dying or diseased tree on the highway. We will look into this and let you know what we find within the next 14 days. You can find out more about trees and hedges on our website

  • It should be noted that the tree is a feature of the village and any remedial work should be sensitive to that status. It's a fine tree and needs some tlc.

  • I would also agree with the comments about the Horse chestnut tree (Aesculus hippocastanum). It is one of the first trees you pass when coming into the village and has a presence which is very pleasing to see with the planters around it.

  • Hello We know that you responded very quickly to our initial call and that photographs were taken. Our assumption is that remedial action, if required, will take place in the autumn or winter after leaf fall. Is this correct please?

  • This correct remedial work would be fine after the leaves have fallen.
