Please see today's photos of the footpath near the White Cottage on Rasen Road. It is so bad that everyone, including small children going to and from to school, have to walk on the main road. > > As I have said before, there is a land drain under the grass which runs all the way to Cow Lane. In the past LCC have located the drain and jet blasted it with great success. It also needs jet blasting outside 18-20 Rasen Road, where it is also blocked.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

It needs curing before the autumn because it will become treacherous when it freezes and primary school children will have to walk in the road on the way to and from school.

I don't think you have solved the problem, just the symptoms. Water is still running, see photo. It will soon revert to how it was. It needs the drain underneath flushing out. There are drain covers outside 12 Rasen Road which may (?) be related to this drain
