Upton Road/Padmoor Lane

Reported via desktop in the Other road surface issue category by Knaith Parish Council at 11:34, Sunday 30 June 2024

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2811027.

Affects full stretch of these roads from Knaith Park to Upton. Due to road works currently in Gainsborough, the roundabout works at the bottom of Foxby Hill, we are seeing an increase in traffic through Knaith Park with HGV's using Upton Road/Padmoor Road on a regular basis. The Parish Council are concerned as we believe this road is unsuitable for HGV's especially as it has a small humpback bridge over a brook. Our question is, could 'Unsuitable for HGV's' signs be installed if this is the case. That back road is in bad condition as it is and the bridge only been recently repaired
