We’re sending you this message to let you know that we’ve assessed the condition of the footway and will not be taking action with this report. A our site survey photographs show, the footway is in excellent condition for its entire length, with the exception of some slight cracking opposite the church. This defect was examined closely and revealed to be less than 5mm in depth. It would not sustainable nor reasonably practical to maintain a footway to such high standards, regardless of some pedestrian's age, mobility issues or other factors. Our survey also noted some considerable overgrowth and encroachment across the footpath opposite the churchyard and we can confirm that enforcement action will be taken to remove this as soon as possible. Thank you for reporting this matter.
