The drain is blocked with soil and dirt. The road floods and has done so for the past ten years or more.

  • This problem has existed for well over 30 years and Rowan Smith is well aware of the problem after having site meetings with our County Councillor and Parish Councillors before the Pandemic.

  • Your contractors have spent some time here jet washing and clearing the drain but abandoned any attempt to locate where the drain went to. However I have lost count of how many times exactly the same work has been carried out over the last 20 years with no resolution to the issue, so your statement that "the issue is now resolved" is being hopelessly optimistic. I will report the problem again as soon as the lane floods.
