South Witham High Street, entering from Mill lane

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 2811898.
I have a concern regards speeding in South Witham village (Lincolnshire) on High Street when entering from Mill Lane. Every single day drivers are driving over 30mph, so many times we see even police cars driving through the village over speed limit which is far away from 30mph. I have big worries as I have 10years old child who would like to walk to and from school but crossing High Street is a big danger. The danger zone is on High Street between Thistleton lane and Water Lane where many kids and not just kids are crossing the road and struggling to cross the road safe. My suggestion would be to build speed bump or mark a pedestrian crossing somewhere on that stretch. Maybe speed limit flashing signs before entering the village would be needed. I really hope you could do something asap that people specially children living around Thistleton lane, Station Avenue area could cross the High Street safe. Please let me know if I can help somehow to let this happen.
Many Thanks, Agnese Fedorova
