Bridleway Cawkwell hill LN11 9SG

Reported via mobile in the Sign (unlit) category anonymously at 18:33, Wed 10 July 2024

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2811959.

There are no road signs warning drivers of horses crossing this A road. They cross the road coming onto the road off the bridleway, and also into the entrance of Cawkwell House; where 17 horses are kept.

6 weeks ago, a horse was spooked badly by a tractor coming around the bend too fast. The horse exited the road, over the hedge and fell in the Ditch. Emergency services responded to an open fracture, with the air ambulance. Having been present, I can assure you it was terrifying all involved, and the lady is exceptionally lucky it wasn't a worse incident/outcome.
