Crossing point at junction of Bridge St and Thornton St.

Reported via desktop in the Standing water covering less than half the road category by Cllr Dennis Dannatt at 09:43, Tue 16 July 2024

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2812457.

Floods during rainfall but does not drain for up to 24 hours. When floods occur it is virtually impossible for pedestrians to use the safe crossing. Most vehicles veer to the centre of the carriageway when approaching from the north. Flooding is due to an obstruction in the drain between the second and third drains northward of Thornton St.
