A46 / Horncastle Lane junction.
Reported via desktop in the Pothole on pavement/verge category anonymously at 11:35, Tue 16 July 2024
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2812478.
Vehicles traveling south on the A46 are getting too close to the edge of the road to get passed vehicles turning right into Horncastle Lane. Others have gone to the left even further and created a very dangerous trench to the side of the carriageway (motorcyclists in particular could be seriously injured). Queues form and go back to the new roundabout and beyond at times because of the lack of width for passing. This should have been sorted when the new roundabout was designed. The local area needs Hardcore and Tarmacing to allow Vehicles to pass on the inside. This type of work has been carried out in various other locations before.
