At the junction near the industrial estate

Reported via mobile in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 21:28, Tue 16 July 2024

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2812567.

2 massive potholes adjacent to each other, newly appeared but they are very big, easily a foot deep each and 1-2 foot wide both of them, can’t avoid them without going on opposite side of the road, a road user had a blow out and many people stopping to check after hitting them. Just a matter of time until they cause an accident with where they are positioned, hard to see when turning off. A motorcyclist would easily be flung off there bike if they rode through it. Need fixing urgently.

  • This pothole has punctured my tyre and damaged my wheel rim beyond repair. I work 26 miles away from Grantham and I have no way to get into work.

  • This is completely unacceptable! This has been dug up at the start of last week and patched up due to roadworks five days later this has became a very dangerous pothole which I have driven into today. The gentleman in front of me has had a punctured tire pumping it up at 9:15 pm, luckily I have escaped any damage as far as I’m aware, but the bank was pretty Big!!! When are the roads going to be repaired properly to the standards and not just temporary for a couple of days!!! I will be reporting this further!!!
