Footpath/cycle way adjacent Partney Road
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2812993.
The section of path opposite Blind Lane is almost unpassable with overgrown hedge and nettles. The path is restricted in width and the edge with the grass verge is uneven and there is a danger of people falling when stepping onto the verge. The path/cycleway towards Partney roundabout is restricted in width due to encroaching vegetation. At the moment there is a slip risk due to all the loose chippings from the road. These might seem like minor issues but the only way that people can be encouraged to walk and cycle more is to have safe and accessible paths and cycleways. Thank you.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

We're sending you this message to let you know that we've assessed the footway condition and at this time it does not require urgent repair. However we have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County footway) network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime. Thank you for reporting this matter.
