To the side of the bridge over the River Witham at the entrance to Claypole village

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2813176.
Earlier in the year/end of 2023, safety bars/barriers were erected on the bank of the river to the side of the road bridge to discounrage young people from jumping off the bridge and into the river. The hot weather over the weekend of 20-21 July has attracted large groups back to the river and they have been sitting on the barriers in large numbers, using them to pull themselves out of the river and the metal barriers are now hanging loose.
It is an ongoing issue in this location that teenagers gather to play in the river but they spill out onto the road at a sharp bend. Local drivers know to take care on hot days as there will be a crowd, but unfamiliar drivers are at risk of crashing into teenagers who are all over the road (as there's no footpath) when they are leaping off the bridge into the river.
