At the junction of small drove lane onto glenside north viability to the left from high hedge is causing a great problem.Theres been some near misses because cars have to pull out onto the road to see .been getting worse.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

Maybe you could ask the property owners. Apparently they have been asked to try and get it cut back several months ago

Due to the many near misses that are happening now as there is no speed restriction with the junction of Small Drove Lane, could a road sign be put up to show there is a junction and a speed restriction until this is resolved? Cars come along here as though it's the A16 so it is increasingly difficult to exit the lane.

Because our current resources are extremely limited we have to focus our enforcement on matters of a significant danger or nuisance to road users. The hedge appears to have been cut back by the land owner and is not encroaching on the road. We will continue to monitor the site during our routine inspections and will review the situation.
