Road outside 5 chopdike drove

Reported via mobile in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 19:38, Mon 29 July 2024

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2813835.

Roadway has been chipped past number 3 and 4 chopdike but this has not been done all the way to number 5- please can this be done as it is the worst part of the road.

The road is in exceptionally poor condition. Not at all level, very deeps holes and causing damage to cars driving across this.

Please can you confirm that this is your road according to your stat map? If so please can this be addressed immediately, especially as the rest of the road has been done this last week.

If according to your stat map it is not your road, please advise who it belongs to and whose responsibility it is to address this issue which has been in place for years.

  • We're sending you this message to let you know that we've assessed the road condition and at this time it does not require urgent repair. However we have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County road network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime. Thank you for reporting this matter.
