I have now included some images for you taken yesterday to show how this has been previously blocked off at both ends, there is still a signifant amount of water in the ditch despite no rainfall in almost 2 weeks. It is also a magnet for disgarded rubbish that gets blown or dropped in by pedestrians or passing cars and despite regular maintainance on my behalf the weeds/reeds still continue to come back and cause damage to the boundary fence.

Thank you for your enquiry. An officer has advised the ditch can be filled in by the customer but we strongly advise that a 300mm pipe is laid and connected to the existing pipe shown in photo. This will help to protect the property from future possible flooding incidents. Thank you for reporting this matter.
