Blocked drain on bend

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2814118.

Drain constantly flowing down the road as blocked. It has been like this for months and months with no communication of works to be done.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. Whilst we understand your concerns, this minor surface water issue is not considered to be hazardous and is not a priority to the County Council at this time. We are aware of the recurring outfall blockage (leaf detritus) in the road gully outside number 19 and this has been cleared by jetting operations a number of times historically. The system has also been inspected with CCTV. We are considering replacing the drainage gully at the location with a more modern unit which may help mitigate the issue, however we cannot provide timescales for this work at this time. Thank you for reporting this matter.
