East road complete, Sleaford to ruskington

Reported via mobile in the Uneven surface category anonymously at 21:54, Thu 1 August 2024

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2814120.

The footpath/cycle path is unfit for purpose. It is the only safe way of walking or cycling along the busiest road in Sleaford. The surface is uneven and is almost unrideable on a road bike and it's only wide enough for 1 person or 1 bike to navigate. You have to stop and move over if you meet someone coming the other way. The road is far to busy to cycle on during daylight hours. Please can this be sorted

  • Thanks for letting us know about this path. We’ve had a look and put the path into the siding programme of works. That means the path will be cleaned up and put back to it’s full width. It may take some time to complete these works as they will be put in the programme to be carried out during the winter, so please bear with us. Thank you for reporting this matter.
