  • Who is in charge of roadworks in Grantham?! I absolutely understand the need to get roads fixed but the lack on insight into flow of traffic is ridiculous.

I live on Coles way, and to get from my gym on London road and back home has taken me over 30 mins, due to one way system plus the additional temporary lights that have appeared over night.

We have had a market place closed for months which is delayed as always due to lack of ‘supplies’, one way system and temp traffic lights all within the same area.

Whoever has made these decisions obviously does not live round here or ever attempted to commute round here. I dread to think how it will be once school children go back or if there’s another major accident where other roads require closing.

I’m more than happy to take my concerns further because this is impacting people’s lives, businesses and taking away peoples valuable time. I am a community midwife and it’s apparent no thought has gone into emergency services and the impact this will have on potentially care that requires a timely response - who will be responsible for cause of death or injury due to being simply unable to get there?
