Whilst the man hole has been raised to be level with the road surface to achieve this paving blocks [sets] have been removed and tarmac has been used to effect the repair which in my opinion is totally unacceptable in a conservation area especially as the road leads to the main entrance of Crowland Abbey a building of significant historic value and interest.
