Seaview Road Skegness
Reported via mobile in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 20:44, Wed 14 August 2024
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2815230.
I am a wheelchair user, I find using Seaview Road very difficult (near impossible) to use. The full lenght of the footpath is very unsafe. It is uneven, broken and tree roots showing above the paving.

We're sending you this message to let you know that we've assessed the footway condition and at this time it does not require urgent repair. However we have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County footway network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime. Thank you for reporting this matter.

Thank you for your reply, but really sad, disappointed and annoyed that you find Seaview Road Skegness foot paths are not in an urgent state of repair. Someone is going to have a nasty trip, fall on the uneven foot path, I'm scared to even use my wheelchair on that foot path. I find your decision very confusing 😕.
