Everytime it rains a large puddle appears in the road and driveway/garden floods.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

Just to let you know this issue has turned out to be more complicated than we first thought. We need to take this on for more investigation. We will let you know the situation as soon as we can. Thanks for bearing with us.

We’re sending you this message to let you know that we’ve assessed the road condition and – We do accept that there is a puddle at this location, unfortunately we have to prioritise our resources to sites that cause flooding of properties and/or a danger to users of the highway, in this instance we consider the puddle to be a nuisance rather than an issue we need to take any action on. We will not therefore be taking any action on this matter, sorry we cannot be more helpful. Thank you for reporting this matter.

Progress! We’ve completed our investigation and works are now planned. Once we know when work is due to take place we will let you know.
