Inspection cover rattling again, after repair only a few days ago

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2816185.

This has been the bain of legbourne road residents life for months. It has had two, if not three attempts at repairing it, including one only a few days ago residents report. It is rattling already so something needs to be done as whoever is attempting to repair this issue is not capable. Residents report being kept awake by the constant rattling every time a car drives over it, and also PTSD sufferers due to the loud metallic bang.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  • Lincolnshire County council should ensure Anglian water do a proper job fourth time around then, as their last three attempts have lasted from two days to two months.
