Thanks for your reply, statingits not your problem and I should contact Network rail. As it is on council paths I would have thought it was your problem even if some of it is coming from the land owned by network rail, and maybe you should contact them! as for the the land nearest to to rail crossing it is not owned by them it is privately owned and you are in a better position to know who by. So guess I shall have to just walk on the road
