Updates

  • Drainage works were carried out in Cuxwold Road, Swallow recently. Following this, after a short but deluge of rain the other day the outlet water came back out of the outlet pipe at an alarming rate. The downpour filled my neighbours section of the dyke, but didn’t quite reach my garden (2 Church View). The outlet is situated in the garden of New Village Farm. This was witnessed by my neighbour who has a video of it happening. We are worried that the pipe may have been blocked at the Cuxwold Road end or maybe the contractor has repaired several drains that all run into the main sewer which is now unable to cope.

We are now very worried that when the dyke is filled with water again, New Village Farm and all the properties on Church View will be flooded.

Please will you treat this as a priority.
