Hello, I have reported this issue before but was told you are ‘monitoring’ the situation. I know nothing will be done, and therefore I wandered if I could pay for LCC directly, or an approved third party contractor to replace the tarmac in front of my property and that of my next door neighbour.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

Hi, I have offered to have the footpath outside my home at 16, Gregory Close , Harlaxton repaired at my own cost if necessary. I suggested that possible course of action at the beginning of September. I received an acknowledgement of my enquiry , but have heard nothing since. Regards, Roger Sharpe

We’re sending you this message to let you know that we’ve assessed the road condition and – whilst it has deteriorated it does not yet require further action. If the fault deteriorates significantly then please report this again to us and we will investigate further. Unfortunately we cannot allow members of the public to arrange undertaking their own works on the publicly maintained highway. Thank you for reporting this matter.
