Corner of road
Reported via desktop in the Problem at LCC roadworks category by Paul Herbert at 11:31, Wed 4 September 2024
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2817056.
The gully is blocked and needs jetting. When it rains the whole corner of the road floods and over spills into our garden, it also leaves a very large puddle on a blind Bend which is very dangerous. As the corner always floods the road boundary and edging has been damaged and surface is pot holed.

We’re sending you this message to let you know that we’ve assessed the condition and – whilst it has deteriorated it does not yet require further action. If the fault deteriorates significantly then please report this again to us and we will investigate further. The gully will be cleansed on our cyclic routine. We will however monitor the flooding situation. Thank you for reporting this matter.

Once again I will repeat myself, the gully is BLOCKED and FLOODING my garden. I now have a full septic tank and the garden is saturated so my leech field is not working. there is clearly room for this to disperse as you can see the low level in the dyke. Fed up with repeating myself on this, chased it on the phone previously. You now have 30 days from today to jet and unblock the gully, if it is not completed I will be collecting costs for for damage and cleaning through small claims. I don’t pay my taxes to be ignored!
