St Edith Gate, LN11 8SS

Reported via desktop in the Fallen tree or branch category by Elaine Chaufour at 13:02, Thursday 5 September 2024

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2817167.

1. This is the second branch that has fallen. This branch broke and fell on top of an Amazon delivery small van. He removed it to the side of the road. 2. The first was kindly removed by a resident. 3. The large white lorry is one of many delivery trucks that use this road. As you can see, eye by reversing even a little, branches could be ripped from the tree. Please note, on this occasion this van caused no damage. 4. This road is used as a car park for Grimoldby School as LCC do not provided car parking. Young children and parents are walking daily in the road and there is a high possibility that another branch may fall on children or residents cars. 5. High winds are a worry and, God forbid, we have snow that settles on the branches!

Please act as a matter of urgency. We love our tree but the branches are just too long!
