146 Nettleham road Lincoln
Reported via mobile in the Dying or diseased tree category by Robin Renshaw at 14:57, Thursday 5 September 2024
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2817196.
Tree continues to drop limbs onto public footway and highway as previously reported regularly since 2007. It is now evident that large rot pocket at the intersection of the 2 large limbs is becoming more diseased. Several years ago a resident was able to climb the tree to that point and discovered that a rod was able to penetrate this rot pocket and clearly this has become worse. Debris from a recent drop narrowly missed a passerby who placed the debris on the verge. It is still there and fortunately the pedestrian although frightened was not injured.
