At the top of the hill on the path at the side of Castle Wood Academy

Reported via mobile in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 15:57, Thursday 5 September 2024

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2817202.

This old path light has been pulled out/knocked over, it’s often found lying in the centre of the path (cable allowing) and it has three very large, rusty prongs sticking out of the bottom. It’s been like this since June and quite frankly it’s a miracle that no-one has tripped and impaled themselves on it, considering just how many young children go up and down this hill every day! The cable channel could also do with filling in, it’s not deep now but winter is on its way and rain>ice is a bad combination for holes like this.
