Next to Sunnyside
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2817356.
Rain shower overnight (Normal amount of rainfall) has left the road completely flooded as the pond to the left hand side adjacent to Sunnyside is full and has no flow into a dyke to allow for emptying. This is new and is following heavy farm vehicle movements up and down the lane. Suggest that the drainage channel under the road that links to the opposite dyke is completely blocked. This flooding will remain until it is repaired correctly. This has been happening and getting worse for a number of years and the land owner/=council have done nothing each time except blame it on the weather !

Nearby land drainage is either at capacity or requires maintenance, and is the liability of the landowner. I have contacted the land owner and they are not willing to do anything about it - I thought the road was the council's responsibility? Maybe the council should do the work and contact the landowner themselves!
