2 drains are quite high with water although no rain and end of the summer (17th sept). As soon as we get heavy downpours the drains fill very quickly of water and flood the whole road Mill Rd kerb to kerb and over onto the grass verge from the bungalow on the corner."Cornerways" and " Middle Rasen Chapel". This then covers the main junction of Gainsborough Rd and low church Rd. Lots of heavy lorries go daily up and down the small Rd of Mill Rd. Plus many cars. Spraying the water up in the front path and driveway of "Cornerways" bungalow. Sand bags are always placed at the gate/path of "Cornerways" as it can be anytime of the year the Rd floods with heavy showers. In the past the water has overflowed down the path to reach the bungalow . Eventually the rain water drains and the water is exposed. The more times this happens the lorries going through and churn up the gravel from the road from the spray and makes lots if potholes ( now growing). Can the drains be cleaned properly before the autumn/ winter weather please. So the water has a fast flow down straight away?? Now with the tractors and heavy machinery adding to the straw and mud the drains will get bloked even more than they are already. This has been going on at leat 4 years on this corner. Plus in winter there is a constant flow of water coming from the rd further up on the bend of Mill Rd due to water from fields ( so we've been told) so the drains always have a continuous flow of water running down them from the " mimi stream" .Thanks.

Is there a further update on this please? There is so much water at the junction, which freezes this time of year. It is dangerous when approaching the a46 from mill Lane.
