Outside of Jays Cottage, Field lane
Reported via mobile in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 09:41, Thursday 19 September 2024
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2818224.
7 potholes of various sizes most deeper than 40mm. Suggest the whole surface area of the highway re- sufaced around 100 feet long. Traffic is now leaving the main road and coming on to our land to miss the potholes. This is unsafe and unacceptable. This needs to be addressed urgently as totally unsafe. And risk of immediate danger to life.

Problem with road outside jay cottage owner has put rocks and fence on edge on road to keep people off as it is narrow road dustbin lorry and tractors have to run on verge next to dyke to get pass because of rocks etc causing potholes only matter on time before someone goes in dyke then be insurance claim , questions will then be asked why they were aloud to put them there and narrow road up more ,been told there should be 1 metre verge there with no obstruction on it

To the anonymous person that has complained about the stones “on my land” they have been put there to avoid users of this lane driving on to my property. Discussions with the council worker yesterday whilst visiting found no issues with them. If you are a driver that comes on to my property to avoid the potholes please do not as you are trespassing.
