Speed limit in the lanes 40mph which is too high. Narrow lanes. One passing place. Dog walkers. Pedestrians. Hikers. Cyclists. Horse riders. Recent near misses reported and would like to prevent accidents. Bad bend. Heavy farm machinery.Previously been told has to be the same speed as through the village which is also a problem.Would it be possible for speed reduction especially for the lanes please.. If not are there any deterrent speed signs for the Lanes please eg SLOW or SLOW DOWN.or Careful, horse riders or whatever may be suitable.

Thank you for sending in your request. Please speak with your local Councillor to gather all views. This will have greater strength in moving forward. You’ll need a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) for what you have requested. To get one you need to contact your Parish/Town council. If the Parish/Town council support your request, they can then contact their County Councillor who will get the TRO actioned. Thank you for reporting this matter.
