Grass verge needs reinstatement. It's the only part of the road that has no grass between pavement and kerbs looks horrible Currently just mid. Damaged by railway vehicles parking and skdc workforce setting up the proposed new pedestrian crossing

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because this area has not been a grassed verge for over 10 years and the area is causing no safety issues for pedestrians or road users, therefore we will not be taking any further action Thank you for reporting this matter.

Sorry I don't accept this. The area is currently just mud and debris negatively impacting our neighbourhood. It's designed to be grassed like the rest of the road .

Many thanks for replying. So it's a grass verge by the railway bridge and 51 barrowby road Then a section of mud by my house before becoming grass verge again outside 57. Very poor. But at least you have clarified that no action is necessary because it's not a health and safety issue. I shall take the same approach with my council tax.
