This was first reported back in November 2022 case number 437347. Again in Jan 2023 and yet again in March 2024. This has not been dealt with at all. With winter fast approaching this is yet again going to be a severe hazard for getting children across the road safely to school. Can this please be dealt with. I'm sure clearing out drains does not take over 2+ years to sort

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

    Drains on path still blocked. This is where the children’s crossing is for the school Drains in lay-by still blocked totally fills with water when it rains. First reported 10 months ago and still nothing done. When is this going to be sorted.

    This problem has been reported since at least 2022 and is still not fixed. It is dangerous and difficult to manoeuvre around and you cannot get out of your car without wellington boots on. Children are getting wet feet at the start of the school day. It was discussed at the Parish Council last night and may people including me (the District and County Councillor) have reported it.
