Please refer to a blocked drain issue, reference 494706 which was raised on 19 Feb 2024 for teh same blocked drain. This was closed on 24 Feb 2024 with the following statement : "Thanks for telling us about the fault. We’ve had a look at it and the drain will be cleaned as part of the next schedule of works." This "next schedule of works" HAS NOT BEEN DONE and consequently the drain remained blocked until the next serious rainfall (yesterday and today !) and is, once again, causing rainwater to run off the road and into the driveways of Teigngrace and the adjoining property Bretwell. THE DRAIN NEEDS TO BE UNBLOCKED NOW !!!!

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
